About Me

Once some of my family began following the gluten-free diet after being diagnosed celiac or gluten intolerant, I slowly started realizing the health symptoms I've had for years were similar to my family members. I thought the symptoms I had were just a way of life, since I had them for so long. But, I finally started following the gluten-free diet in September 2010 and have felt SO much better. Since then, I've been on a mission to find and create simple, gluten-free recipes that taste as good as gluten!

My husband, Mike, and I try to cook from scratch as much as possible by using fresh foods and organic/all natural/simple ingredients. Following the GF diet has been a blessing in disguise, as it has rekindled my passion for baking and cooking. I love finding or creating simple recipes and revising my family-favorite recipes to be GF. I'm determined to eat a healthy, balanced diet that is as good as gluten! And, of course, indulge my sweet tooth from time to time with GF baked goods!
